What is the progress in Copenhagen?
February 8th, 2008 by launchThe launch of Wippies in Copenhagen is going really well. New members are registering to the community by the dussin and soon we hope to have a whole wippified zone. More of that later.  Even the little mermaid  has grown fond of the wireless lifestyle.Â

Who is behind the launch event concept?
February 7th, 2008 by launchOne of the creators behind the concept Amy Jean Hamilton is telling us the vision and the goal of the Wippies Copenhagen launch.
She says that she wishes to materialsize the concept of a wireless hippe. Bring the internet community out in to the streets and show a physical representation of the Wippies company. Wippies is not something cyberspacish, its a community of people, and the idea of “sharing is caring”.
Wippies wishes to engange students in our community. Amy is a representation of this wish. She is a student of the Kaospilot Øresund school and together with her team of 25 they work the streets of Copenhagen to broaden the Wippies world wide. The money the students earn from this collaboration will enable the whole team to spend three months outpost in Mumbai, India.

February 6th, 2008 by launchWhat is new in the wipies world?
February 6th, 2008 by launchRight now Wippies is moving in to Denmark and expanding our community to one further country. In a store on Foilstraede 29 near Norreport in Copenhagen wippies have set up a free wireless router store. Out side of the shop paperboys are running around in the streets distributing flyers and calling in new users to our community for registration.  If you have any friends or connection in Denmark, tell them to come by and register, or just to say hello.Ask for Jacob or Pelle we are more then happy to answer any questions they might have or, just hear what you think about the Wippies community and what we should do next! Help us, bless another country with this community, where sharing is caring!
